Grant Burge pioneered Merlot in the Barossa Valley, planting the first of the variety at his Hillcot vineyard in 1982. A stylish and obvious varietal example with mouthfilling plum, cassis and raspberry flavours.

Tasting Notes

This wine has a delicate bouquet with cinnamon, boysenberry and lavender. The palate is fresh with blueberry and boysenberry flavours accompanied by hints of oak.
