Grant Burge pioneered Merlot in the Barossa Valley, planting the first of the variety at his Hillcot vineyard in 1982. A stylish and obvious varietal example with mouthfilling plum, cassis and raspberry flavours.

Tasting Notes

this wine has a sublte cinnamon bouquet accompanied by boysenberry and lavender. The palate is fresh blueberry, red cherry and oak.
